Hi All! Winter has officially arrived again here in the North after a brief visit back to early fall. Sorry for the radio silence last week, I took a break for the Holidays and am just now getting back to posting again. Today, I am reviewing Pandora’s Razor by Ray Strong, which is Book 2 in the Hope’s War series.
eARC provided by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Okay, so I had some of the issues with Pandora’s Razor as I did with the first book in this series. The plot is interesting, and the characters grab your attention. But the first half of the book as so hard to follow for me. It jumped mid chapter between perspectives and locations which always throughs me off! But once again, when I hit the 50% mark everything started to come together and flow a little better. We still had the mid chapter perspective jumps, but everyone was starting to come together in the same 1 or 2 locations which helps a lot.
Meriel, is once again trying to revenge against the man that killed her parents. But she also may be trying to battle corruption in the UNE and Enterprise (which are basically the managing bodies in space). But with this book I wasn’t following which was the actual storyline. The beginning we get the revenge plot but then 25-85% of the way it was focused on the corruption. The two do seem to be converging by the end of this book. So I have hopes for Book 3 in the series.
Overall it is an intriguing Sci-Fi that is worth giving a shot! I seem to be in the minority with my 3 star review on Goodreads and Storygraph, so I 100% take the blame for not following the story well.
Operation Sci-Fi is going to continue into the new year! So if you have any recommendations drop them in the comments and I will add them to my list.
Till next time Book Dragons!
